TDK InvenSense ICU-20201 Time of Flight Distance Sensor for Sale by Mouser

Mouser Electronics, a global authorized agency for semiconductors and electronic components, will begin selling TDK inventense ICU-20201 time of flight (tof) distance sensors today. This product is a patented technology that utilizes ultra-low power (1.8V) ultra small and long-distance ultrasonic sensors to obtain compressed high intensity radar pulses (MEMS) technology. It is used for intelligent door lock approach wake-up, wall chasing, obstacle avoidance, parking lot vehicle count measurement, unmanned aerial vehicle ground measurement, and other aspects.

The TDK InvenSense ICU-20201 tof distance sensor supplied by Mao Ze has a multi object sensing function, which can accurately measure targets up to 5 meters and operate in various environments from bright sunlight to complete darkness. The sensor is packaged in a reflow able package, integrated with an 85kHz piezoelectric micromechanical ultrasonic sensor (PMUT), and equipped with a second-generation ultra-low power system on chip (SoC). In addition, it provides a customizable field of view (FOV) of up to 180 °, as well as a sound port for ultrasonic transmission and reception.

The ICU-20201 sensor is supported by the ev - ICU-20201-00 evaluation board. The evaluation panel includes an ICU-2021 ultrasound sensor, supporting circuits, test points, 12 pin, and 0.5mm flexible cable connectors. The trial board requires the use of a soundproof cover when connecting to the IC.

In addition, a dk-x0201 development tool for the ICU-2021 tof (ultrasonic time of flight) sensor is also provided. This product group includes a development motherboard using microchip technology samg55 microcontroller, a sub evaluation board, and a target board with pre installed ICU-2021 sensors. The evaluation and development of the ICU-2021 sensor can be quickly completed by downloading, installing, running image development software and embedded drivers, and connecting its product group to a computer.
